For the yarn, we used 16ply Indophil Yarn (no brand) for all colors. You can opt for 8ply strands for the tentacles for variation.
Note that this project is worked in rounds and can be done with or without the slip stitch and chain 1 at the start and end of each round.

You can put the tentacles onto the belly then just knot them so there isn't sewing involved. Once you have all tentacles on the belly, you sew the belly to the bottom of the body.

Stuff the head firmly

Sew on the tentacles to the bottom base of the jellyfish, with the thickest tentacles as an outer ring and the thinner tentacles as the inner ring, towards the center of the belly.

Sew on the base to the head (using the back loops from R23) with the knots of the tentacles inside the jellyfish
